Overview
Players control a Cat-bot navigating a cluttered, maze-like room to clean up the mess. Using bubble-based mechanics, they traverse obstacles and “defeat” trash, unlocking new bubble abilities that expand mobility and strategy.
Design Goals:

Center the core mechanic around bubbles for both traversal and combat

Gradually increase challenge to shape a compelling difficulty curve

Deliver satisfying progression through new bubble abilities after key challenges

Establish a cute, humorous tone that reinforces the playful mechanics

My Highlights

Designed the main loop, system, and the player character’s actions.

Designed the actions and behaviors of some bosses and enemy units.

Defined the game flow and player feedback systems. Highlighted player feedback by designing animation based on predicted emotional shift.

Codesigned the level, making sure it fits into the concept and aesthetics of the game.

Determined the visual/audio direction that fits into the style and feeling of the gameplay.

Planned the roles, pipeline, and time management for the whole team. Organized the workflow and assets of 4 artists.
